This painting captures the delightful old Spanish Architecture from times gone by when the movie stars of the 1940’s started building glorious homes in Palm Springs ,CA. This is located on the original main street where there are shops, bars, restaurants and lots a action. Most of the Spanish architecture remains intact with its terra cotta red rooftops and unique colours in pastel shades or white. Mount San Jacinto can be seen in the background as it ensconces the valley making the area so unique. Bougainvillea take over the rooftops with their glorious fuchsia blossoms creating a most charming sight in the the middle of the busy downtown area.
