Whimsical painting with lots of depth -a path leads one into the distant trees. The soft blue sky can be seen between the trees with foliage of a variety of greens, some of which are deep while others are almost golden. Along the natural path (of browns, beiges, yellow and white -depending where the light and shadows fall) there are patches of violet flowers mingled with vibrant green plants which have much personality in their combination of colours: blues, dark greens, olive greens and yellow greens. The painting creates an ambience of mystery so that the viewer must walk further into the forest to see more.
